Student Life
For over a hundred years, Marianopolis College has focused its many resources on supporting students in the classroom and beyond.
The College has more student clubs than any other school
of its kind and it is the only college to hold a universal break, also called Activity
Period, twice a week. Activity Period is an opportunity for students to hear
from world-renowned guest speakers, play intramural sports, participate in clubs and
generally grow outside class.
Marianopolis students also have the
opportunity to get involved in a variety of enriching activities, from participating in the weeklong ArtsFest every spring and the annual Arts Trip to cultural meccas, to gaining hands-on experience via the Lab Apprenticeship Project, to competing in the Science Fair and Math and Science and Robotics events, as well as the Tournoi des jeunes démocrates and Model UN conferences. Students may receive credit for their involvement in extra-curricular activities. Students may also supplement their educational experience and round out their global perspective by taking courses taught abroad.
Dynamic, enthusiastic, inclusive, creative, innovative: all of these
describe student life at Marianopolis. Because life outside the classroom matters.
Student Clubs

There are over 85 clubs at Marianopolis, representing a wide variety of interests, from recreational to social, academic to cultural and spiritual. Students who wish to organize an event
on campus, from stand-up comedy to lectures from top
medical researchers, to fund-raising and movies, should speak to a Student Life
Animator
(A-123B, A-158 or A-160) and complete the club
event request form.
